Madison Helps Raise Funds For Outside the Box
For several years now, Madison team members have supported Outside the Box (OTB) as a sponsor of their annual golf outing. This year, Madison’s Joe Hack and Brad Meeks participated to raise funds for OTB, an organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. OTB provides older individuals who have “aged out” of the school system with many opportunities including a curriculum based day program, a creative arts experience in the studio, and customized employment services. Their programs match participants in small groups by age, personality, interests and goals. For younger children still in school, OTB offers an after school program and summer camps.
Founded ten years ago, OTB has grown rapidly and now supports more than 250 individuals with disabilities. The Indianapolis, Indiana based organization has a 14,000 square foot facility which sits on seven acres. Today, they are considered leaders in the field, because they think “Outside the Box”, embracing curriculum that promotes individualized growth rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach.
Joe was introduced to OTB through a client whose family has benefited from their services. We are proud to help the organization further its mission by offering support.
