Madison’s Ed Kuresman Helps Lead Panel Discussion at Cohen & Steers Conference

Ed Kuresman, Madison Principal & Portfolio Manager, recently addressed fellow investment advisors as a member of a panel discussion held at the Cohen & Steers Real Assets Institute in New York City. The topic of discussion was Selecting Real Assets to Achieve Client Goals.

Ed shared how Madison successfully incorporates the use of real assets into our clients’ portfolios and how we think about the risk and return attributes of these assets.  The term “Real Assets” refers to investment opportunities in tangible assets (i.e. real estate, commodities and infrastructure) that can deliver returns that exceed inflation over the long term.

Madison has been investing in real assets on our clients’ behalf for more than a decade and has conducted extensive research on the benefits of including real assets in a portfolio and how best to access these investment strategies.

Cohen & Steers is a highly regarded manager of global real asset strategies with nearly $50 billion of assets under management.
