Madison Partners with Cincinnati Area Red Cross in Holiday Mail for Heroes Campaign

Madison and the Cincinnati Area Chapter of the Red Cross recently teamed up to host an important card signing event – Holiday Mail for Heroes.  Guests enjoyed a festive and welcoming atmosphere at Madison’s business office in Cincinnati while they wrote personal messages of appreciation to active military, veterans and their families. With many service members and veterans separated from their families during the holiday season due to deployments and hospital stays, “this campaign is a great way for local residents to help those who have sacrificed so much for our country” says Danya Karram, Madison Financial Planner and Red Cross Board Member.

There are currently two million members of the U.S. military serving in our country and abroad, and 24 million U.S. veterans. Last year more than 1.8 million cards were distributed nationwide to the troops and their families.  We are proud to report that over 450 cards of appreciation were written during this event!  The cards will be collected, sorted and distributed by the local Red Cross offices.
