Madison Managing Principal Ed Kuresman Shares Industry Knowledge with University of Cincinnati Business School Students
The University of Cincinnati’s Lindner Investment Banking Club (LIBC) recently invited Ed Kuresman, managing principal at Madison’s Cincinnati office, to address its members. During his presentation, Ed shared insights and knowledge as to lessons learned in developing a successful and satisfying career in the investment field. Ed also offered an introduction to individual wealth management and explained the need for “a life long passion to learn” to excel in the field.
“I appreciated the opportunity to have an open discussion with an industry professional on such a personal level,” said LIBC member Andre Thebert. “Ed’s story about his career was inspirational. It’s always reinforcing to hear success stories … I know for a fact that every member in that room walked away with a new perspective.”
Thebert was also fascinated to “learn more about Madison and the tremendous growth the firm has achieved over the years. Very impressive.”
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Ed was pleased to impart some of the wisdom he has garnered over the past dozen years since graduating from college. His experience in research and portfolio management, leadership role in the CFA Society of Cincinnati – including serving as its president – and deep commitment to the community has positioned Ed as a sought after authority in the investment community.
