Madison’s Senior Wealth Advisor, Rick England Rides Again for Lymphoma Research
Madison’s Rick England participated in the ninth annual Lymphoma Research Ride, a 50 mile cycling event which raises money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). This year, the event attracted more than 350 participants who had the choice of completing a 10, 25, 40 or full 50 mile ride. Once again, over $500,000 was raised with a remarkable 98% of the proceeds directly benefitting LRF.
Rick personally raised about $8,000 for LRF this year thanks to many different sources – friends, business associates, fellow cyclists, and family. “Thank you to all who contributed for a great

cause. I know several people who have been living with the effects of lymphoma for a long time, and this money will help them in the battle to cure this deadly disease,” Rick said.
Perfect weather and an estimated 100 dedicated volunteers ensured a great ride through the rural roads of Montgomery County, Maryland. Volunteers cheered for the riders at the top of every hill and prepared an impressive lunch for participants to enjoy at the end of their long ride.
“It was a great experience and I’m proud to be a part of such a worthy cause that puts so much toward research to help find a cure.”
Funds raised by participants will support LRF’s mission of eradicating lymphoma and serving those touched by this disease. LRF is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative research and serving the lymphoma community. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $55 million in lymphoma-specific research.
