Madison Advisory Board Member, Duane Dewey, goes "Over the Edge"

Over the Edge

Madison’s long-time Advisory Board member, Duane Dewey, will go “Over The Edge” to help raise money for Friends of Children’s Hospital.

On April 16 some 76 “Edgers” will rappel from the roof of the 14-story Trustmark Corporate office (174 feet down) onto West Street in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. This will be Duane’s first experience at rappelling.  Duane is raising sponsorships for his efforts of which all of the funds will go to the hospital.

Friends of Children’s Hospital is a nonprofit organization created to benefit the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  More than 150,000 children from all of Mississippi’s 82 counties and surrounding areas are treated at the Batson Hospital for Children each year. Friends’ goal is to build a statewide base of community support in order to raise money for state-of-the-art equipment, facilities and services for all.

The Madison team is proud to support Duane with this exciting endeavor and wishes him the best of luck!  With a campaign titled “Toss Your Boss” we encourage Duane to check his harness twice before going over the edge!!
