Madison’s Kelly Blanks Joins Loudoun Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees

The Loudoun Education Foundation (“LEF”) recently welcomed several new Board of Trustee members, including our own Kelly Blanks, Madison’s Director of Marketing and Communication.

The LEF offers critical and exceptional Loudoun County, Virginia school programs that are not funded by taxpayer dollars. For example, the LEF supports the Backpack Coalition which helps feed food-insecure students and families on weekends. Additionally, there are STEM after-school learning programs like Propel and Level Up. The LEF also offers grants and scholarships to educators for professional development and certifications, among other pursuits.

Kelly brings to the board a background that will help expand the Loudoun Education Foundation’s outreach and support of Loudoun County Public Schools.

At Madison, Kelly leads our branding, messaging, and business development initiatives. Before joining Madison, Kelly was a regional nonprofit development leader for over a decade, serving Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS), the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, and Inova Health Foundation.

When asked what made her want to join LEF’s board, Kelly said, “Service through education is a significant family value passed down to me, which is practically ingrained in my DNA. Joining LEF’s board was a no-brainer for myself, my family, and my job. Being involved in and contributing to the community is a top value of Madison Wealth Management.” By supporting the LEF through board participation, Kelly is indeed helping to impact our schools and community.
