MADISON HOSTS GUESTS AT POINT-TO-POINT RACES
After a two-year hiatus, Madison Wealth Management recently celebrated its annual Day at the Races appreciation event, where guests enjoyed spring’s arrival, a bucolic setting, and competitive steeplechase racing. Held at historic Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia, this year marked the 55th running of the Loudoun Hunt Point-to-Point races. More than 80 guests, team members, and their families joined us at our tent, sipping sangria and local craft beer, while nibbling on sandwiches and assorted desserts. Guests watched riders compete in eight races over challenging hurdle and flat courses, with a sidesaddle race to start the event.
The event was held at Oatlands Plantation in past years, but recently moved to its new home, Morven Park. The Point-to-Point boasts a roster of the region’s top riders and is one of the Hunt’s largest fundraisers of the season. It also helps to support Morven Park, a historic 1,000-acre property, owned and operated by the Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation.
In addition to holding the Loudoun Hunt Point-to-Point, Morven Park’s grounds offer a premier equestrian venue, the Morven Park International Equestrian Center, which attracts some of the world’s top riders. A Virginia Historic Landmark, Morven Park is dedicated to providing the community with a beautiful place to discover, play, and connect.
We are grateful to all our clients and friends and enjoyed sharing a wonderful day in the Virginia countryside with many of you and your children.
